COMMUNITY CONNECTION FESTIVAL FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (DECEMBER 2025)

On December 3, 2025, at the Go Noi Community Cultural Center (Dien Ban Bac Ward, Da Nang City), the Research Centre for Inclusion (RCI), in collaboration with the Go Noi Commune People’s Committee and the Da Nang Disabled People’s Association, organized a Community Connection Day for Persons with Disabilities. The event was held under the framework of the project “Improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities in provinces sprayed with Agent Orange”, funded by the United States Government.

The event was organized to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, following the global theme “Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress.”

The festival created a welcoming space for persons with disabilities, their families, and the local community to come together, interact, and build connections through recreational and group activities. Various engaging activities were carried out, including inclusive team games, group activities, and cultural performances tailored to the abilities of persons with disabilities. These activities not only brought joy and excitement but also encouraged interaction and strengthened the bond between persons with disabilities, caregivers, and the wider community.

Approximately 50 participants attended the event, including persons with disabilities and their caregivers, officials from Da Nang departments and agencies, representatives from project communes, family members, and local residents. The event showcased a spirit of solidarity and inclusion, reinforcing community support for persons with disabilities and contributing to improving their quality of life in Central Vietnam.
